A lecture and discussion led by Dr Alan Bollard

The last decade has brought dramatic changes in the trade patterns, demographics and technologies of the Asia-Pacific. Trade has been the biggest economic driver, and New Zealanders have taken continued strong growth for granted.

This is now being threatened by the forces of anti-globalisation.

Dr Alan Bollard is Executive Director of the APEC Secretariat in Singapore, and will speak from his experience of how economies, including New Zealand, are dealing with this challenge.

Dr Bollard’s talk will be followed by a question & answer session.

Please join us from 5.15pm for 5.45pm start. Networking will follow the talk from 6.45pm.
