How have WeChat and AliPay transformed China’s payment sector – and what does this mean for NZ businesses? Why is it important to build cultural awareness before engaging with China’s diverse markets?
The North Asia CAPE held an evening with veteran investment banking and finance expert Ralph Shale last year.
Ralph's talk will examined the ecosystems of social media and payment platforms WeChat and AliPay and discussed how they can help (or hinder) NZ businesses grow their activities with Chinese consumers. Ralph will also reflected on his own experiences working with Chinese investors and business partners and explore the challenges and opportunities for Kiwis developing intercultural capabilities.
