The North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence (CAPE) is offering New Zealand wine companies, marketers, and representatives the opportunity to build and grow their China/Hong Kong market strategy. 

Held from 13 October, the tour will take place online over two weeks and explore the following: logistics/customs, an introduction to wholesalers/retailers of NZ products, market overview, trade shows, and cross-border e-commerce.

This study tour will prepare participants to engage more competently with and do business in Hong Kong and southern China. It also offers opportunities to connect with local businesses and explore possible areas for collaboration.

Tour details

North Asia CAPE will fully cover the cost of the tour.

Participants will:

  • Take part in the four-session event including six modules
  • Discuss ideas and opportunities throughout the sessions
  • Gain an insight into opportunities for New Zealand wine in Hong Kong
  • Identify areas of opportunity where New Zealand can play a role to enhance its brands in-market
  • Establish relationships for further liaison and possible collaboration between facilities in New Zealand and Hong Kong

This opportunity is open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents.
