The NA CAPE is pleased to support our inaugural Public Policy internships to China. Building off the sister-city relationships, we will offer ten young professionals and recent graduates the opportunity to participate in a four week programme in Jiangxi Province in China. The programme is co-developed by Eastern Bridge.
The first two weeks will be attending Jiangxi Normal University, studying language and culture. This is followed by two weeks interning in local foreign affairs offices in the region.

The North Asia CAPE supports students, graduates and young professions to partake in internships both in-country and digitally.
This year we are pleased to partner to work with TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) to again offer internship opportunities for recent graduates, and young professions from all disciplines across New Zealand.
The North Asia, Southeast Asia, and Latin America Centres of Asia-Pacific Excellence (CAPEs) joined forces in 2019 to offer the Market Insights Programme (MIP) in Auckland, Wellington and Hamilton.
The MIP is a project based, guided internship programme that harnesses the market and culture-specific insights of domestic and international tertiary students and matches these to New Zealand businesses’ needs. Students are selected through a competitive application process and are guided by dedicated academic mentors throughout the programme.
